How do I make an appointment?

Scheduling an appointment is easy!
Simply use our booking link to choose the day and time that works best for you.
When booking, you can choose an in-person or virtual appointment

Where are you located?
We are located in the Applied Technology & Innovation Center [ATIC], Building 500, on CSI’s main campus.
Are your services available to distance students?

Yes!

The Work-Based Learning Center is available to all students, including those taking classes online or at a distance. You can schedule a virtual appointment with us to receive the same personalized support you would receive in person, including career coaching, resume reviews, mock interviews, and more.

Simply use our online scheduling link and choose ‘virtual appointment’.

How do I find internship and job opportunities?

You can find job and internship opportunities through our online job board
Positions can be filtered by job type and category.

The job board is updated regularly, so we encourage you to check back often for new postings.

Can the Work-Based Learning Center get me a job?

While we cannot guarantee or place you in a job, we provide the tools, resources, and support to help you succeed in your job search.
We offer access to our online job board, where employers post part-time, full-time, and internship opportunities specifically for students and graduates.

Are you open during the summer and during breaks?

Yes! The Work-Based Learning Center is open during the summer and most academic breaks.
We encourage you to schedule an appointment or contact our office to confirm our hours during holiday closures. Book an appointment

Graduates are welcome to continue using the Work-Based Learning Center. Whether you’re exploring a new career path, searching for a job, updating your resume, or preparing for interviews, we are here to support you.

What is Gilbert's Interview Closet?

Gilbert’s Interview Closet provides students with free professional clothing to help them look and feel their best for interviews, career fairs, internships, and other networking events.
Students can choose business attire that fits their needs—and the best part is, they get to keep the clothing at no cost!

Students do not need an appointment to shop the closet.
Simply stop by our office in the Applied Technology & Innovation Center (ATIC), building #500 on CSI’s main campus.

We offer a variety of resources, including career coaching, resume and cover letter assistance, mock interviews, career assessments, internship search support, and access to our online job board.

We can also partner with faculty through workshops to bring career readiness directly into your courses.

Yes. The Work-Based Learning Center can support and coordinate the internship process from start to finish.

We work closely with employers, faculty, and students to gather the necessary information, facilitate placements, and maintain clear communication throughout the experience.

Can the Work-Based Learning Center provide presentations, workshops, or classroom visits?

Our Work-Based Learning Center partners with faculty and staff to prepare students for career success.

We offer interactive classroom presentations and workshops on topics such as:
• Resume and cover letter writing
• Interview preparation
• Professional online presence and digital identity

If you’d like us to visit your class or department, please contact us to schedule a time. We are happy to customize a workshop to meet your students’ needs.

Employers

How do I share a job or internship opportunity?

Employers interested in sharing local job and internship opportunities with CSI students and graduates can complete our Employer Interest Form.

Once approved, you’ll receive access to submit postings through our online job board. 

Is there a charge to post on the Eagle Job Board?

No, there is no charge to post a position to our job board.

What types of jobs can I post?

Employers may post full-time, part-time, seasonal, and internship opportunities that provide compensation through an hourly wage or salary.

We do not accept commission-only positions, unpaid opportunities, or roles that do not provide a clear employer-employee relationship.

All job postings are reviewed by the Work-Based Learning Center before being approved to ensure they meet our guidelines and provide quality opportunities for students and graduates.
