Job Description and Requirements
Gem State Staffing is now hiring Truss Builders for a leading manufacturer of high-quality roof and floor trusses used in residential and commercial construction. These are temp-to-hire positions in a fast-paced production environment offering weekly pay, benefits, and career growth.
Responsibilities:
Build and assemble trusses using blueprints and tools.
Hammer gussets and plates into place.
Operate saws, pneumatic nail guns, and roller machines.
Conduct quality checks to ensure trusses meet specifications.
Follow safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
Maintain clean and organized work areas.
Work as part of a team to meet production goals.
Perform other duties as assigned.

-Experience with hand tools and power tools.
-Ability to read and follow blueprints (preferred).
-Good communication and time management.
-Attention to detail and accuracy.
Physical Requirements:
-Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly.
-Ability to work on your feet and in a fast-paced environment.
Other Requirements:
-Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
-Team player and safety-focused.
-Construction or manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.
-Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
-Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).
Work Environment:
-Indoor production facility with exposure to sawdust, noise, and varying temperatures.
-PPE (gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection) provided and required.
-Potential for evening or weekend shifts based on workload.
-Ability to read and follow blueprints (preferred).
-Good communication and time management.
-Attention to detail and accuracy.
