Job Description and Requirements
The Front Desk Agent is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service throughout all stages of the guest experience, including reservations assistance, arrival, check-in, stay support, and departure. This role serves as one of the primary points of contact for guests and plays an important role in creating a welcoming, personalized, and luxury-level experience.
This position is a great opportunity for students or individuals interested in hospitality, tourism, business, or guest service to gain hands-on experience in luxury hotel operations while working alongside experienced hospitality professionals.
Responsibilities
Welcome guests in a warm, professional, and service-oriented manner throughout all interactions.
Assist guests with check-in, checkout, room assignments, reservations, and special requests efficiently and accurately.
Provide information regarding hotel amenities, dining outlets, transportation, local attractions, and resort experiences.
Process guest payments and transactions accurately in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Maintain knowledge of occupancy, room availability, daily operations, and hotel services.
Utilize hotel systems and property management software accurately and efficiently.
Coordinate with Housekeeping, Valet, Engineering, and other departments to support seamless guest experiences.
Respond promptly and professionally to guest questions, concerns, and service requests.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards throughout the front desk and lobby areas.
Complete daily operational checklists, reports, and shift balancing procedures as assigned.
Maintain confidentiality of guest information and support hotel safety and security procedures.
Support additional Front Office and guest service responsibilities as operational needs require.

Qualifications
Previous hospitality, retail, restaurant, customer service, or guest-facing experience is a plus but not required.
Interest in hospitality, tourism, luxury service, or hotel operations preferred.
Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
Professional, friendly, and service-oriented attitude.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel systems required.
Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments and team members.
