Job Description and Requirements
Summary: Works in Habitat for Humanity ReStore. Responsible for cashiering and customer service.
Duties include:
Ÿ Assisting customers as needed
Ÿ Greet Shoppers as they arrive to ReStore
Ÿ Cashier to remain in sight of cash register area at all times
Ÿ Fill out receipts and sold tickets for items that have been purchased as needed
Ÿ Answer telephone professionally (ReStore, how may I help you?)
Ÿ Keep front store area and register area neat and clean
Ÿ Organize and display merchandise as needed
Ÿ Be aware of store policies and volunteer guidelines
Ÿ Other duties as assigned
Ÿ Complete ReStore Policy and Review: Habitat 101 video Course- To be completed first week; Safety Training-Lockton Insurance Course- To be completed in the first month
Ÿ Management will cross-train in all other ReStore positions
Job Requirements:
Ÿ Must have strong customer service skills
Ÿ Strong sense of basic Math
Ÿ Previous cashiering experience is preferred
Ÿ Must have a basic understanding of building materials
Ÿ Must be self-motivated and able to work independently and within a group as a team player
Ÿ Must wear closed-toe shoes for safety purposes
