Job Description:

Gem State Staffing is now hiring Tripa Flush Helpers to join a local meat processing facility in Jerome. This is an entry-level role in a fast-paced meat processing environment, ideal for individuals seeking steady work with reliable hours. You’ll assist in cleaning beef intestines (tripas) on the production line.

Responsibilities:

-Hand small intestine segments (tripas) to a co-worker at a processing table
-Work as part of a flushing team using water nozzles to clean the product
-Pick up and hand product quickly and safely
-Maintain hygiene and safety standards
-Use proper PPE (rubber boots, apron, earplugs, bump hat) 

Qualifications:

-Must be at least 18 years old
-Eligible to work in the U.S.
-Able to speak English or Spanish
-Physically able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions
-Comfortable working in cold, wet conditions typical of meat processing environments

Work Environment:
-Cold production area (meat processing facility)
-Constant standing and light lifting (<1 lb. items)
-PPE provided for safety and sanitation
-Team-focused and fast-paced work setting
