Gem State Staffing is hiring a Store Associate/Landscaper for a full-time position in Twin Falls. As a Store Associate your priority is to provide good customer service and assisting customer by phone or in person in answering their questions and processing transactions quickly and efficiently. This is a full time seasonal position with the option to stay on as a permanent staff member.

Roles and Responsibilities:

-Provides excellent customer service to all customers.
-Guides customer to the location of requested items. Locates products in the warehouse/store.
-Deals with challenging situations in a professional manner.
-Keeps up to date with in-store promotions, in-store deals and product locations.
-Ensures that retail basics tasks are executed efficiently.
-Stocks shelves and merchandise display areas using best practices, modules and planograms as guidelines.
-Maintains inventory accuracy and identifies/reports low stock levels.
-Keep store neat and tidy.
-Operate cash registers and accurately process sales transaction.
-Answer customer inquiries in person and over the phone.
-Assist with receiving shipments, unpacking merchandise, and checking inventory levels.
-Other duties as needed and assigned 

Qualifications

-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
-Must maintain a clean and professional appearance
-Ability to read, and write English
-Ability to run a cash register
-Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, c-customers, and the general public
-Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
-Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check
-Proven delivery of excellent customer service.
-Able to read a tape measure.
-Must be able to also help and work in the field doing general labor tasks.
-Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
