Job Description
Assist in the preparation of ready-to-eat fish roe and caviar, including washing and sanitizing utensils, filling jars, labeling packages, packing jars into boxes, cleaning/sanitizing work areas, some warehousing record keeping. Will involve long periods of standing in cold temperatures and repetitive wrist work. Warm outer wear and PPE will be provided.
Normal shifts are 8:30am-12:00pm and 1:00pm-6:00pm Monday, Tuesday and Friday, through December 2025 and may also be offered into Spring 2026 semester, but we are flexible scheduling partial shift hours around class schedules. Full-time employment may be available to the right applicant(s) after December 2025.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess a basic respect for food preparation, food safety and cleanliness, and a willingness to learn and follow strict HAACP & GMP principles. Prior HACCP/GMP knowledge or food service experience is preferable but not required. Applicants must be able to lift at least 50 lb, speak and understand English, and work respectively as part of a team. Idaho Springs Foods is a drug-free employer. New hires must pass a drug test administered by Southern Idaho Examiners in Twin Falls.
