Job Description

A Lift Mechanic is a physically demanding, comprehensive program ensuring the safety of all passengers who utilize the Aerial Lift System. It incorporates preventative maintenance and troubleshooting lift issues before and during the operating seasons.  

 Duties and Responsibilities:   

Safety of all passengers that utilize the Company Lift System. 
Perform preventative maintenance on all facets of the ski lift system. 
Troubleshoot lift issues as they arrive during the operating seasons. 
Perform multiple tasks at advanced heights. 
Perform pre-operational and operational checks during active seasons. 
Monitor moving equipment, utilizing all senses to predict potential failure. 
Work closely with all mountain operations departments. 
Interact with guests positively and adequately. 
Always maintain a culture of safety. 

Qualifications

Safety orientated. 
Mechanical aptitude. Knowledge of tools and rigging. 
Ability to adapt and maintain a high level of focus.  
Ability to work at heights/climb ladders. 
Work in adverse weather conditions. 
Willingness to stay on task until completed. 
Work well with others.
