Job Description:

Gem State Staffing in Twin Falls is currently accepting applications for an experienced Hydraulic Technician for a full-time, temp-to-hire position in Gooding. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of hydraulic systems and their components, including the ability to assemble and repair various hydraulic equipment. This role requires hands-on experience with power tools and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards while performing heavy lifting tasks. The Hydraulic Technician will play a vital role in ensuring the functionality and reliability of hydraulic systems used in various applications.

Responsibilities include:
-Installing hydraulic components
-Performing inspections and preventive maintenance
-Designing, developing, and testing equipment
-Manufacturing and assembling hydraulic parts
-Reading dials and meters
-Operating machines 

Qualifications:

-Have at least 1-2 years of experience.
-Consistently bend, stoop, and twist.
-Lift 50+ pounds consistently, unassisted.
-Familiarity with basic hand tools.
-Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
-Must have a team oriented attitude.
-Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
-Reliable transportation to and from work.
-Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and potentially holidays.
-Bilingual (Spanish and English) applicants are encouraged to apply.
-Must be self motivated and work as well as part of a team.
-Willingness to do other assigned projects.
-Proven experience in hydraulics, automotive repair, or related fields is preferred.
-Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate various power tools safely.
-Experience with heavy lifting and the physical capability to handle demanding tasks associated with equipment repair.
-Familiarity with Caterpillar machinery is a plus but not required.
-Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
-Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
-A commitment to adhering to safety standards and practices at all times.
