Job Description
The People Team Internship will allow the successful candidate to greatly enhance their real-life experiences and learn modern skillsets within the field that they are studying. It is an outstanding opportunity to get hands-on experience in multiple disciplines of HR such as Talent Aquisition, Employee Relations, Compensation, and Leadership Development.
Responsibilities
• Assist in team building event development and planning
• Assist in new hire onboarding planning and phone screening activities
• Assist answering basic employee questions and directing employee to the correct HR contact
• Support digitalization and organization of employee files
• Administrative duties such as filing, and data entry.
• Assist with project work focusing on understanding turnover in a manufacturing environment
• Assist with project work around employee recognition programs in a manufacturing environment
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s program related to the field of Human Resources or Business Related
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Desire to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects against deadlines
• Interest in consumer-packaged goods industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of Tools
• Ability to be on-site in our Twin Falls, ID location up to 4 days a week.
