Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our client’s team as a Garage Door Installer. This role involves helping with the installation of overhead garage doors and requires some construction experience.

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm or whenever the work is finished. Must be ok with working overtime and being on an on-call rotation.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the installation of overhead garage doors at various job sites.
Utilize construction knowledge and skills to ensure proper installation and functionality of doors.
Bring your own tools and equipment to complete installation tasks efficiently.
Demonstrate a motivated and self-starting attitude to tackle installation projects independently.
Preference for candidates who are tall enough to assist with overhead installations.
Work as part of a team to complete installations efficiently and effectively.
Potential for travel with this assignment, depending on project locations.
Willingness to work after hours and be on call as needed.
Physically able to move up and down ladders and lift garage doors.
Capable of repetitively lifting objects overhead. 

Qualifications

Previous experience in construction, particularly in door installation, is preferred.
Must have own tools and equipment necessary for the job.
Strong work ethic and drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently while also being a team player when needed.
Flexibility to travel and work after hours as required by project demands.
Physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting garage doors and working at heights.
