Job Schedule: March through November we work Monday through Friday 7:00 am-6:00 pm and Saturday's 7:00 am - 12:00 pm at least and sometimes longer on Saturday's. December through February we work 7:00 am - 6:00 pm Monday - Thursday with 3 day weekends.

Job Description

I'm looking for a full time farm mechanic to be in charge of diagnosing, repairing and maintaining, and ordering parts for various farm equipment including tractors, trucks, loaders, pickups, etc. We have a heated shop that we do all our maintenance and repairs in and we provide all the necessary tools. We work throughout the winter bringing our equipment through the shop to make necessary repairs. Your primary job will be doing mechanic type work but you may fill in on a tractor or other piece of equipment when necessary. We treat people well and reward people for doing a good job. My mechanic of 44 years is retiring so I need his replacement. We believe in resting on Sundays so we don't do normal work on Sundays. 

Qualifications

You must have a valid driver's license, be dependable, honest, hard-working, and have a good attitude. We don't require a certified mechanic, just someone who is mechanically-inclined to be able to diagnose and repair equipment. Must be able to work with people in a team environment.
