Gem State Staffing is accepting applications for a full-time Department Supervisor or Team Lead for a local manufacturing company in Jerome.

Job Duties:

-The work consist of supervising a fiberglass production line and we are willing to train.
-The individual must be willing to give and take constructive criticism.
-Tasks consist of being able to meet our daily schedule, inventory, quality control and being able to keep our products quality our number one priority.
-Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers in a manufacturing environment.
-Ensure that all production processes are carried out efficiently and in compliance with company standards and regulations.
-Monitor production schedules and adjust workflow as needed to meet production targets.
-Train and mentor production staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
-Oversee the sanitation of production areas to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
-Collaborate with other departments, to resolve any issues that may arise during production.
-Implement and enforce CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines to ensure product quality and safety.
-Operate forklift or other equipment as needed to support production activities. 

Qualifications

-Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the food industry, preferably in a food processing or packaging facility.
-Strong knowledge of manufacturing safety regulations.
-Familiarity with fabricating equipment used in food processing operations.
-Proficient in basic math skills for measuring ingredients, calculating yields, etc.
-Must be Bilingual, English and Spanish speaking.
-Ability to lift up-to 75lbs unassisted infrequently.
-Pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background investigation.
-Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and potentially holidays
