Gem State Staffing in Twin Falls is now hiring for 30+ immediate openings at a meat processing facility in Jerome, Idaho. We are looking for qualified candidates to fill the Chuck Boner (Meat Processing Worker) role. Responsibilities

• Cut and trim meat cuts such as chucks, hams, loins, plates, rounds, and shanks
• Use knives, T-handle hooks, and meat hooks to remove bones
• Maintain cutting edge on knives using a steel sharpener
• Pull meat from conveyor, remove specific bones (arm, pectoral, chuck short rib), and return cuts to the belt
• Sort waste product into designated chutes
• Wear required PPE (gloves, hairnet, lab coat, hard hat, safety glasses, rubber boots)
• Follow food safety and hygiene protocols in a cold environment
• Collaborate with team members and follow direction from supervisors
• May perform additional tasks such as reporting, basic cleaning, or tool maintenance

Qualifications:

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods in cold temperatures
• Ability to use knives and hooks safely
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Experience in meat processing, food manufacturing, or production line work is preferred but not required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
