Gem State Staffing is accepting applications for several open positions with a local Cheese Processing plant for full-time, temporary-to-permanent production laborer positions in Gooding or Richfield.

• Cheese Packager - Day shift $19.00/hour or Night shift $19.50/hour
• Cheese Warehouse Operator - Night shift $19.50/hour
• Whey Packager - Day shift; $19.00/hour or Night shift $20.50/hour
• Powder Blend Operator - Day shift $19.00/hour or Night shift $20.50/hour
• Warehouse Operator - Night shift $19.50/hour
• Agglomeration Operator-Day shift, $18.00/hour

• Whey Packaging - Night shift; $20.50/hr. Thursday - Saturday, E/O Wednesday from 7am- 7pm (back of the week)
• Whey Packaging- Night shift; $20.50/hr. Sunday-Tuesday, E/O Wednesday from 7pm- 7am (front of the week)
• Whey Packager - Day shift; $19.00/hr. Thursday - Saturday, E/O Wednesday from 7am-7pm (back of the week)
• Whey Packager Day shift; $19.00/hr. Sunday - Tuesday, E.O Wednesday from 7am- 7pm (front of the week)

***EARN UP $500 BONUS*** This will be paid in two lump sum payments on the scheduled pay date following 168 hours ($200.00) and 336 hours ($300.00) of successful employment and you are in good standing.

Job Duties:
-Sanitize machinery
-Run towers in manual and auto mode
-Perform accurate inventory of cheese bags
-Break down Tower during CIP
-Understanding of chemicals and their uses
-Proper cleaning of block conveyor lines
-Re-bag cheese if necessary
-Proper GMP in ready-to-eat area
-Perform other duties as assigned
-Package up to 50lbs of cheese 

Qualifications:

• Be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or climb.
• Adhere to company attendance standards.
• Comply with company safety policies and regulations.
• Qualified applicants should have no felonies in the last 10 years.
• Available to work overtime, weekends & potentially holidays as needed.
• Previous food processing/production or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., unassisted.
• Must be able to be on your feet for an entire 12-hour work shift.
