Our client is a leading provider of construction supplies and materials, is currently seeking a versatile and dedicated CDL A Driver & Yard Laborer / Maintenance Technician to join their team. This position, offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will play a vital role in delivering supplies, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the overall efficiency of our operations. This position will start as a local one, once you roll over it will turn into some over the road and being paid by the mile. Full Benefits offered once roll over. Responsibilities:
Safely operate both commercial and non-commercial vehicles, including CDL Class A trucks, to deliver supplies, equipment, and liquid products to job sites during the season.
Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations while driving and operating vehicles.
Assist in the cleaning, organization, and maintenance of the company yard to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Perform routine maintenance on company vehicles and equipment, including inspections, oil changes, and minor repairs.
Assist with general labor tasks in the yard as needed, including but not limited to loading and unloading materials, inventory management, and equipment operation.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and other team members to coordinate deliveries and yard activities.
Adhere to established schedules and deadlines to meet customer demands and project requirements.
Participate in training sessions and safety meetings to promote a culture of safety and compliance.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management to support company objectives. 

Qualifications

Valid CDL Class A driver's license with a clean driving record.
Experience operating a forklift
Prior experience operating commercial vehicles and delivering supplies or materials is preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor tasks in a fast-paced environment.
