Gem State Staffing is now hiring full-time Class A CDL Drivers for local hauling assignments based in Buhl, Idaho. If you’re a dependable, experienced driver who enjoys working outdoors and can handle long shifts, this is a great opportunity for a temp-to-hire or seasonal position with competitive pay and weekly hours.

Responsibilities:

-Operate commercial trucks and trailers over 16,000 lbs
-Haul materials to and from construction or asphalt production sites
-Follow asphalt production cycles and loading/unloading procedures
-Perform construction-related labor when not driving (e.g., shoveling, site prep)
-Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
-Prepare for long shifts and extreme weather by bringing appropriate gear, food, and water
-Participate in random drug testing during employment

Qualifications

• -Valid Class A CDL license and current DOT medical card
  -Ability to operate manual transmission trucks
  -Must pass a DOT drug screen and background check
  -Physically capable of lifting 20+ lbs and standing for long hours
  -Comfortable working in hot, cold, or windy conditions
  -Reliable transportation to shop in Buhl, ID
  -Must arrive on time and be prepared daily
  -Willing to work overtime and extended shifts (5:00 AM – 7:00 PM typical)
