Job Description

Client is looking to fill a seasonal Truck Driver/Warehouse position. Full-time, temporary, position with full benefits and the opportunity for substantial over-time hours. The primary responsibility is to operate trucks, deliver fertilizer and chemicals and assist with plant operations.
This position is full time and starts immediately. Must have a clean driving record and current DOT medical card. Ability to work long days and mandatory overtime. Ability to pass pre-employment DOT drug screen. Knowledge of the area and good sense of direction. Ability to load and unload own trucks. Clear understanding that this position is not a driving only position.

Qualifications

1+ years related experience and or training. - Ability to drive a manual/standard
Truck driving experience preferred.
Knowledge of local rural geography is a plus.
Knowledge of farm operations is a plus.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must be able to perform all essential functions of the job.
Required Certifications
Must hold and maintain a Class A or B CDL and appropriate driving record.
Tanker Endorsement preferred.

Typical Education
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Other Information
Knowledge of basic farm equipment and operation. Skills: Ability to do a variety of tasks in succession, i.e., blending products together, loading a truck, and driving the truck to a farm.
