Job Description:

Gem State Staffing is seeking a friendly, motivated, and reliable Customer Service / Store Lead to work in a local cheese store in Twin Falls, ID. This is a temporary, part-time position (10–25 hours/week), perfect for individuals with strong retail sales and customer service backgrounds who enjoy working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers with purchases, questions, and product recommendations
  • Operate a POS system to process sales, returns, and exchanges
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store appearance
  • Stock shelves, rotate products, and help manage inventory
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues with professionalism
  • Collaborate with team members to meet sales and service goals
  • Support the Cheese Store Manager in daily retail operations
  • Follow all store policies and safety protocols

Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • At least 2 years of retail or customer service experience (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player
  • Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Must be 19 years or older
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Comfortable with bending, reaching, and climbing ladders
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
  • Move freely throughout the store to assist customers and stock inventory
