Job Description:
Gem State Staffing is seeking a friendly, motivated, and reliable Customer Service / Store Lead to work in a local cheese store in Twin Falls, ID. This is a temporary, part-time position (10–25 hours/week), perfect for individuals with strong retail sales and customer service backgrounds who enjoy working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with purchases, questions, and product recommendations
- Operate a POS system to process sales, returns, and exchanges
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store appearance
- Stock shelves, rotate products, and help manage inventory
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues with professionalism
- Collaborate with team members to meet sales and service goals
- Support the Cheese Store Manager in daily retail operations
- Follow all store policies and safety protocols
Qualifications:
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least 2 years of retail or customer service experience (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Must be 19 years or older
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Comfortable with bending, reaching, and climbing ladders
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Move freely throughout the store to assist customers and stock inventory
