Gem State Staffing is taking applications to fill a position as Property Maintenance Specialist in Twin Falls. Individual will assist and maintaining a safe living environment for residents, visitors and staff for an apartment complex.

General Maintenance Responsibilities:

-Respond to requests in an expedient manner.
-Keep inventory of supplies, advise manager of necessary expenditures.
-Maintain and secure company tools and equipment.
-Complete any task assigned by the property manager.
-Keep the maintenance shop in a neat, organized manner.
-Conduct pre-inspections of apartments on notice to vacate.
-Observe and notify manager of suspicious individuals/activity or stray animals on the property.
-Monitor fencing on property and maintain as needed.
-Monitor and repair sprinkler system as needed.
-Apply absorbent material to oil/grease-soaked areas in the parking lots.
-Report any on-call emergencies responded to overnight to the manager.
-Complete the Summarization and Winterization of the property per guidelines as established by the -Company.
-Assist with move out tasks like filling holes in walls, fixing any minor damages, and other handy-man type tasks.
-Maintenance and repair of all facilities in a variety of areas, including, plumbing, painting, minor construction and any other related renovation.
-Troubleshoot and repair of appliances, garbage disposals, sprinkler heads, thermostats etc. 

Qualifications

-Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
-Must be able to pay attention to details.
-Must have transportation to and from work.
-Able of move and lift 50+ lbs.
-Must be able to bend, twist, crouch and stoop frequently over the course of a day.
-Must have verifiable maintenance experience.
-Ability to be on feet for duration of a shift.
-Consistently bend, stoop, and twist
-Familiarity with hand tools
-Maintenance experience preferred-solid construction background is also acceptable
-Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and potentially holidays
