Job Description

• Scout farm fields for insects, weeds and diseases.
• Sample soil and plant tissue for nutrient status.
• Deliver products to customers as needed.
• Map farm fields and monitor yields using precision ag technology.
• Work with other Outside Sales team members to more efficiently serve our customers.
• Work closely with plant staff to ensure customer needs are met in timely fashion.
• Operate Company vehicle if needed in a safe and professional manner.
• Travel to, and work at or around, other Ag facilities throughout Valley Agronomics as needed.
• Other duties, responsibilities and/or tasks as assigned.


*We are looking for 3-6 interns between both locations. Most of these internships we are looking to start beginning of May. We are looking for one intern who can start the beginning of March.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of computer systems operation and associated software.
• Ability to interact effectively with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Good math skills.
• Familiarity with farm operations preferred.
• Valid drivers’ license required.
• Ability to obtain a forklift certificate.
• High school graduate or greater.
• Pursuing undergraduate or currently have undergraduate degree preferred
