Job Description

Gem State Staffing is seeking a highly experienced Bookkeeper to join our Twin Falls office. The ideal candidate will be a QuickBooks expert with knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), capable of maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day-to-day accounting operations.

Responsibilities:

-Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) accurately and on time.
-Prepare and maintain financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements).
-Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
-Maintain organized digital and physical financial records.
-Ensure compliance with GAAP and financial regulations.
-Identify and recommend process improvements for efficiency. 

Qualifications

- 2+ years bookkeeping experience (required).
-Expert-level QuickBooks skills (Desktop and/or Online).
-Strong understanding of GAAP.
-Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
-Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
-Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (not required).
