Job Description and Requirements
We are looking for an energetic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team! This is an outside sales role, ideal for a self-motivated professional who thrives on building relationships and promoting services within the community. If you enjoy engaging with potential clients, networking, and driving business growth, this position is for you!
Location:
• Home base is Cassia County out of our Burley office, with marketing territory expansion in surrounding areas.
Duties:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calls, networking, and in-person visits.
• Promote our staffing services and develop strong relationships with businesses and potential clients.
• Meet and exceed sales targets while providing top-notch customer service.
• Prepare and deliver customized sales presentations based on client needs.
• Use online tools for marketing, recruiting, and business outreach.
• Attend job fairs and recruiting events to attract potential employees.
• Participate in local business events to expand our reach and brand presence.
• Report daily sales activities, track expenses, and assist with administrative office tasks as needed.
• Support office operations, including registering applicants, handling phone calls, scheduling interviews, and dispatching employees.
• Conduct pre-employment and random drug screenings in compliance with policy, both at company office and client work sites.
• Rotating on-call responsibilities after hours, including maintaining and carrying the marketing phone.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• 1+ year of outside sales or customer-facing experience (staffing industry a plus).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong emotional intelligence with the ability to quickly read a prospect’s communication style, personality, motivations, and needs in real time.
• High situational awareness; able to “read the room” and adapt your tone, pace, and sales approach to connect, build trust, and tailor conversations effectively.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently with minimal direction, while maintaining strong personal accountability.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities, especially in fast-paced or unpredictable situations.
• Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and confident in face-to-face sales.
• Comfortable with cold calling, meeting new people regularly, and attending networking or community business events.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer tools.
• Reliable personal transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• High level of written and verbal communication skills, including accurate grammar, spelling, and documentation.
• Solid basic math skills for calculating marketing markups, pricing quotes, proposals, mileage, and routine reporting.
