Job Description and Requirements

Gem State Staffing is now hiring an experienced Tire Technician for a full-time position in Jerome, Idaho. This is a great opportunity for motivated individuals looking to start or grow a career in the automotive and tire service industry.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Mounting, balancing, repairing, and replacing tires
  • Assisting with roadside and service truck tire calls (as assigned)
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Following all company safety policies and procedures
  • Working efficiently as part of a team
  • Providing dependable, punctual attendance
  • Operate tire machinery to assemble and build tire components
  • Load, unload, and position materials for tire production
  • Perform quality checks to ensure tires meet production specifications
  • Follow all safety guidelines, policies, and procedures
  • Assist with general production and manufacturing duties as assigned
  • Exposure to noise, machinery, and industrial materials

Qualifications

Requirements:
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Willingness to learn and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work well with a team
  • Ability to work long hours as needed
Ability to:
  • Stand, bend, twist, crouch, and stoop repeatedly
  • Lift 50+ lbs regularly
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
