Job Description and Requirements
Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selection and inquiries
Maintain accurate inventory levels and organize cheese displays to ensure visual appeal
Handle food products safely, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Support meal preparation tasks when needed, including slicing, portioning, or packaging cheese products
Keep the marketplace clean, sanitized, and well-organized throughout the shift
Assist with restocking shelves, rotating products, and managing stock levels to prevent shortages
Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service experiences and ensure customer satisfaction
Operate a POS system, count money, reconcile cash drawer daily and make deposits
Must be able to work some weekends

Qualifications
Must possess high school diploma or the equivalency
Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 LBS. Climb a ladder/stairs
Strong knife skills and familiarity with basic cooking techniques are a plus
Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
Experience in meal or food preparation, catering, or kitchen environments is advantageous
Excellent communication skills, friendly, energetic attitude towards customers
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Basic understanding of culinary practices related to cheese or dairy products is preferred
Ability to read, and write English
Ability to work independently with minimal direction
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
