Job Description

The Content Writer will create, edit, develop, manage, and optimize content writing for multiple Standlee brands to establish our presence across all platforms – product packaging, catalogs, brochures, in-store signage, website, ecommerce, email, social media, blogs, etc. This individual will ensure content – regardless of its form – is engaging, relevant, and discoverable, developing written content from concept to final copy that will resonate with consumers and customers. This individual is a highly motivated, strategic thinker with impeccable written and verbal communication skills.

This position profile identifies the key responsibilities and expectations for performance. It cannot encompass all specific job tasks that an employee may be required to perform. • Develop well-researched content on a wide variety of topics across multiple platforms, including websites, ecommerce sites, blogs, articles, email blasts, digital ads, video scripts, print publications, and social media posts
• Create content pieces that appeal to target audiences, attract customers, and boost brand awareness for our retailers
• Work closely with the Marketing Research to create and deliver engaging content for publication and distribution across a wide range of media channels to clients and colleagues to demonstrate the company’s unique point of view and solutions and their relevance to consumer needs
• Plan and execute a program of content segmentation, updating, and repurposing to maximize content impact on strategically sound market targets
• Help write, edit, and proof content for reports, briefings, blogs, and and social media posts, on a day-to-day continuous improvement basis
• Assist the Digital Marketing manager in developing content for advertising campaigns
• Work closely with the Ecommerce Manager to produce content that generates results
• Identify customers/consumer content needs and recommend new content to address gaps
• Use target keywords to write copy that is optimized for search engines (SEO) while remaining entertaining, informative, and relevant
• Work with Marketing Research and Ecommerce leaders to manage digital subscription base, SEO best practices, and tracking analytics

Qualifications

•Proficient with using SEO best practices to write creative copy that includes effective keyword placement
• Ability to consistently meet deadlines while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Adapt quickly as marketing strategies, platform features, and customer priorities change
• Communication expert in digital and social media platforms, and knows how to deliver a message to audiences, from television to Twitter to TikTok and beyond
